A well-established general contractor, OPC Contracting, sought to upgrade their online presence. The challenge was to create a professional, user-friendly platform that highlighted OPC’s services and projects and communicated OPC's core values and commitment to quality craftsmanship. The website needed to build trust with potential clients and convey a sense of reliability and professionalism.

The research phase began with a deep understanding of the company’s objectives, target market, and the general contracting industry landscape. I started by piecing together the website's vision and identifying its key goals—showcasing completed projects, attracting new clients, and improving brand visibility. I explored competitors' websites to see how they presented themselves and what best practices could be adapted for OPC. This research helped shape a strategic approach to building a website that would emphasize the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.

The design and concept phases for OPC Contracting centered on creating a modern, professional, and easy-to-navigate website. I began by developing wireframes and mockups, prioritizing user experience, and ensuring seamless navigation and quick access to key information, such as services, projects, and contact details. The concept was driven by conveying trust, reliability, and expertise through clean design, bold typography, and a well-organized structure. The design ultimately aimed to strike the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability, positioning OPC as a leader in the construction industry.

After selecting and customizing a WordPress template aligned with the company's professional image, I integrated core functionalities like a detailed service page, completed projects, and a professional contact form. I focused on ensuring the website’s performance through fast load times, mobile optimization, and adherence to accessibility guidelines. The website was designed with scalability in mind, ensuring that future updates and expansions could be easily incorporated as the business expands the site.
